Oak Point Golf Club is Western Sydney’s newest and most ambitious golf club. Set on a stunning riverside peninsula, our 18-hole championship course is undergoing a full redesign by James Wilcher (Golf By Design) as part of a $20 million redevelopment.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Greenkeeping Team Leader to join our growing Turf Department. This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed their apprenticeship or has a few years of greenkeeping experience and is ready to step into leadership.

Key Duties will include:

• Completion and supervision of daily turf management including mowing, spraying, irrigation, fertilising, and bunker maintenance.
• Mentoring junior and apprentice greenkeepers.
• Participating in and leading project work — including drainage, grow-ins, bunker rebuilds and turf establishment.
• Operating, monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Safely operating a range of turf machinery and tools.
• Contributing to course preparation for daily play and tournaments.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety across all turf operations.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Holds (or is near completion of) Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
• Has experience in turf care, preferably in a golf course environment.
• Is open to flexible hours, early starts, weekends and public holidays.
