Every year the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association acknowledges excellence in our industry through the prestigious National Turf Industry Awards at the industry awards dinner held in June at the Sports Turf Management Conference.

The Australian Sports Turf Managers Association Awards represent the ultimate in recognition for members of the industry, and recognise the outstanding initiatives and achievements of sports turf managers in the preparation and presentation of sport and recreation facilities. 
 
Recognising the efforts and performance of sports turf managers, Awards are presented in the categories of: Sustainability & Environmental Award, Excellence in Sportsfields & Grounds Management Award, Excellence in Golf Course Management Award and Sports Turf Management Team of the Year Award - in addition to the announcement of the Graduate of the Year.

Nominations for the Awards are now open and we encourage all members of the turf industry to take the opportunity to nominate a sports turf manager, team or facility that deserves recognition for their contribution to the sports & recreation industry. 

The Australian Sports Turf Managers Association Awards represent the ultimate in recognition for members of the industry and the Association would like to acknowledge the great support of award sponsors Toro, Syngenta, Envu and Repco for their ongoing involvement in helping the ASTMA honour the turf industry's outstanding achievers.

Claude Crockford Sustainability & Environmental Award Presented in partnership with Syngenta Sustainability & Environmental Award, sponsored by Syngenta, recognises outstanding achievement in environmental management, sustainability and responsibility at a sportsfields, recreational grounds or golf course.
Excellence in Sportsfields & Grounds Management Award      Presented in partnership with Toro Australia The Excellence in Sportsfields & Grounds Management Award recognises a Sports Turf Manager for achieving excellence in the management, operations and presentation of turf management at a Sportsfields & Grounds facility
Excellence in Golf Course Management Award Presented in partnership with Envu This award aims to recognise a Superintendent for achieving excellence in golf course management within the past two years, whether it be in the management and presentation of the course or a reconstruction project.
Sports Turf Management Team of the Year Award Presented in partnership with Repco Australia The Sports Turf Management Team of the Year Award is designed to highlight teams who have delivered exceptional performances, and contributed outstanding management, operations and presentation at a sporting facility.
ASTMA Graduate of the Year - Golf Courses Presented in partnership with Toro Australia The Australian Sports Turf Managers Association Graduate of the Year for Golf Courses, recognises the next generation of Sports Turf Managers working at a Golf Course, with the Award winner being recognised natioanlly as the Graduate of the Year
ASTMA Graduate of the Year - Sportsfields & Grounds Presented in partnership with Toro Australia The Australian Sports Turf Managers Association Graduate of the Year for Sportsfields & Grounds, recognises the next generation of Sports Turf Managers wrking at a Sportsfields & Grounds facility, with the Award winner being recognised natioanlly as the Graduate of the Year
ASTMA Distinguished Service Award Bestowed by the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association  Board  Australian Sports Turf Managers Association  Distinguished Service Award is bestowed by the Association Board and recognises an individual who has left an indelible mark on the Australian Sports Turf Management profession.
