ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Nuturf is currently seeking a permanent full time Equipment & Machinery Service Technician to join our team at Blacktown. Reporting to the Technical Service Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a range of turf and grounds maintenance equipment, both in-house and onsite, whilst supporting Nuturf Equipment Solutions’ growth across the business.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Conducting diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on turf and grounds maintenance equipment, to the highest standards and compliance requirements.
- Providing timely onsite repairs and maintenance to our customers.
- Performing pre-delivery inspections on new equipment prior to dispatch.
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation, including work completed and parts used.
- Assisting in ensuring accurate stock levels of parts and consumables are maintained for servicing.
- Assisting in managing service schedules to minimise customer downtime.
- Supporting the sales team with technical expertise and demonstrations as required.
- Ensuring adherence to all safety and compliance requirements in our workshop and field environments.
What We're Looking For:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (essential)
- Minimum 5 Years mechanical experience (turf industry experience highly regarded but not essential)
- Familiarity with diagnostic and repair tools highly regarded
- Awareness of health, safety and environmental procedures and processes associated with the servicing and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting ability
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Ability to triage and troubleshoot to produce mechanical solutions
- Customer service focused and professional presentation
