Following on from the GCSAQ announcing its annual award finalists last week, the NSW Golf Course Superintendents Association (NSWGCSA) has also confirmed its finalists in the lead-up to next month’s NSW Golf Industry Awards. The NSWGCSA will hand out four awards on the evening which will be held on Monday 27 October at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney.
“We’re really pleased to recognise the individuals who have been nominated for this year’s annual awards,” says NSWGCSA president Leon Hennessy, superintendent at Cromer Golf Club. “Each nomination is a reflection of the passion, hard work and dedication they bring to our industry every day.”
Both New South Wales and The Lakes golf clubs are well represented among the finalists, with both superintendents (Mark Parker, pictured, and Anthony Mills) and assistants (Steve Kazurinsky and Jackson Nicholls) up for awards. NSWGCSA life members Martyn Black, Gary Beehag and John Odell have again assisted the association in judging the awards. The respective award finalists are:
