A return to one of the great golf courses in the world and a new tournament host are among the highlights of the second half of the 2025/26 Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia season announced today. The schedule after the short Christmas-New Year break features four legs of the Webex Players Series and the third of the season’s majors - the New Zealand Open at Millbrook Resort in Queenstown from February 26-March 1.
The Tour’s first stop in New Zealand will be at the famed Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club (pictured above) just north of Wellington, with the world top-100 ranked layout to host the NZ PGA Championship from February 19-22. Paraparaumu Beach last hosted the Tour in 2002 when Craig Parry won the NZ Open, beating a field that included world No.1 Tiger Woods, and was previously the NZ PGA Championship venue in 1959.
The new year will begin with the second staging of Webex Players Series Perth hosted by Minjee and Min Woo Lee at Royal Fremantle Golf Club (pictured below) from January 8-11. It will be followed by back-to-back events in Victoria – the Vic Open at 13th Beach Golf Links (January 15-18) and Webex Players Series Victoria hosted by Marcus Fraser (January 22-25). Cobram-Barooga Golf Club will again host Webex Players Series Murray River in honour of Jarrod Lyle (January 29-February 1), while in another nod to the strengthening of the tour, Castle Hill Country Club has extended its agreement to be the host venue for Webex Players Series Sydney hosted by Peter O’Malley (February 5-8) until 2028.
After the NZ swing, the Tour will conclude with the Heritage Classic at The Heritage Golf & Country Club (March 12-15) and the season finale, The National Tournament at The National Golf Club (March 26-29). All events will be broadcast in Australia on Kayo and Foxtel and by Sky Sports in New Zealand.
